Distinguishing drones from birds is one of the hardest tasks in counter-UAS radar. Birds and small drones can both fly low, move slowly, appear as small radar targets, and share the same airspace. A serious system does not rely on one magic feature. It combines several clues and produces a classification confidence.

For buyers, the practical question is not whether the radar can separate every bird from every drone perfectly. The better question is whether it can reduce bird false alarms to an acceptable level without missing the drones that matter.
