Perimeter Security

Comprehensive low-altitude radar coverage for facility boundaries.

Perimeter Security

Traditional CCTV cameras and fence-based intrusion detection cannot detect aerial threats. A drone can overfly the most hardened physical perimeter without triggering a single ground-level sensor. Low-altitude surveillance radar adds a critical third dimension to physical security architecture — detecting, classifying, and tracking drones, balloons, and low-flying aircraft before they reach — or cross — the facility boundary.

Integration with Existing Systems

Cyrentis radar outputs are protocol-compatible with most third-party video management systems (VMS), physical security information management (PSIM) platforms, and command-and-control software. Standard output formats include:

  • JSON/TCP — for integration with custom C2 and PSIM platforms
  • ASTERIX CAT-48 — for integration with ATM/ATC-standard situational awareness systems
  • ONVIF metadata — for direct injection into VMS platforms (PTZ camera cueing)
Industrial perimeter fence and security lighting
A physical perimeter fence alone cannot protect against aerial threats — radar extends the detection boundary into the third dimension above the fence line.

Typical Integrated System Workflow

  1. Cyrentis radar detects and classifies aerial target (drone / bird / balloon / aircraft)
  2. Alarm sent to PSIM/C2 with GPS coordinates and target track history
  3. PTZ camera automatically slews to intercept bearing and elevation
  4. Security operator confirms visual identification and threat assessment
  5. Counter-UAS system activated if threat is confirmed and SOP authorises response

Scalable Coverage

Site Scale Recommended System Installations
Single facility (up to 2 km radius) XR-RD10C 1
Medium campus (3–5 km radius) XR-RD06C or XR-RD07C 1–2
Large complex (5–10 km) XR-RD08C or XR-RD11C 2–4
CCTV security camera on building
Radar-triggered PTZ cueing eliminates manual camera scanning — operators receive an actionable alarm with exact target bearing and slant range.
Security operations control room
Integrated PSIM dashboards combine radar tracks, camera feeds, and access control data into a unified operator view.
